Ben Davis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Cathedral, who was ranked second at the time (Ben Davis was ranked 14th). Ben Davis took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cathedral on Friday. The Giants have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Despite their defeat, Ben Davis saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tavion Williams, who posted eight points and seven boards, was perhaps the best of all. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Kaleb Milan, who earned eight points.
Even though they lost, Ben Davis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Indianapolis Crispus Attucks came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over the Greyhounds. The 47-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Indianapolis Crispus Attucks' win came from a few key players Ben Davis will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Chris Hurt, who put up 13 points along with five assists and four steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Dezmon Briscoe was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to seven rebounds and seven blocks.
Indianapolis Crispus Attucks' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points over those games. As for Ben Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
