Basketball Game Recap: Calvary Chapel Eagles vs. Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies

If Godinez Fundamental wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Calvary Chapel, they should've done a better job of containing Jorden Embry. The Calvary Chapel Eagles put the hurt on the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies with a sharp 69-48 win on Wednesday thanks in part to Embry, who posted 31 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Calvary Chapel's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-13. As for Godinez Fundamental, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
