Recap: Halls Red Devils vs. Wren Hurricanes
After flying high against the Karns Beavers last Friday, the Halls Red Devils came back down to earth. Halls took a hard 61-44 fall against Wren on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Halls has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Halls still got an impressive performance from Chandler Gamble, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds. The match was Gamble's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Comparato, who scored four points.
Wren's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Campbell, who scored 16 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Cal Godfrey was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Halls now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Wren, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
