Soccer Recap: Kalamazoo Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kalamazoo Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Mattawan Wildcats. Kalamazoo Central were not able to make up for their loss to Mattawan from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Kalamazoo Central's record now sits at 3-9-1. As for Mattawan, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 6-5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kalamazoo Central will challenge Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mattawan, they will square off against Hastings at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mattawan will be up against Hastings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
