Tornillo scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Lobos. The defeat leaves the Coyotes still looking for their first win of the season.

Mountain View got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rodriguez Gio out in front who shot 60% from the field en route to 25 points. The Lobos are undefeated when Gio posts 15 or more points, but 3-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Gonzalez, who went 8-for-18 on his way to 18 points along with five boards and three steals.

Tornillo's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mountain View, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Tornillo will venture away from home to square off against Fort Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they will be home for the holidays to greet Horizon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
