Baseball Recap: Madison-Grant Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Madison-Grant ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Frankton Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Argylls in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Dylan Martin was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Harry Brooks also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Madison-Grant's record now sits at 13-8. As for Frankton, their record is now 9-8.

Looking ahead, Madison-Grant will face off against Lapel at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Argylls will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests. As for Frankton, they will challenge Blackford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
