Baseball Recap: Forest Hill Comes Up Short

Forest Hill lost against Palm Beach Central back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 7-6. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alex Seal was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Moreno, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Forest Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Palm Beach Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Forest Hill will welcome Palm Beach Gardens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Palm Beach Central, they will challenge Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.33 runs per game on average), something the Broncos will no doubt try to take advantage of.
