Softball Game Preview: Southeast Pirates vs. Cardinal Mooney Cardinals

The Southeast Pirates will face off against the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Southeast beat Garfield 12-7.

The team relied heavily on Morgan Muncy, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Ava Stephens was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, Cardinal Mooney made easy work of Aquinas on Monday and carried off a 20-2 win.

The victory got Cardinal Mooney back to even at 1-1. As for Southeast, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
