Basketball Recap: Severance Skates Past Riverdale Ridge with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Severance). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Riverdale Ridge Ravens 77-46. The win continues a trend for the Silver Knights in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won three in a row.

Blake Varney continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-7 from downtown and dropping a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 43.5% three-point shooting accuracy. Jordan Rodriguez was another key player, putting up five points along with five assists and five boards.

Severance was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Severance's record now sits at 4-0. As for Riverdale Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Severance wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-47 defeat against Pueblo South on the 12th. As for Riverdale Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 77-40 victory against Village on the 12th.
