Severance won the last time they faced Riverdale Ridge and Blake Varney did his part to make sure it happened again. The Silver Knights blew past the Ravens 77-46 on Thursday thanks in part to Varney, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 43.5% three-point shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Zakaria, who posted nine points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The victory keeps Severance at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 65.0 points this season. As for Riverdale Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Severance won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pueblo South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverdale Ridge, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Village at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
