Football Game Preview: Dike-New Hartford Wolverines vs. Roland-Story Norsemen

The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines are taking a road trip to challenge the Roland-Story Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dike-New Hartford's defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so Roland-Story's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Dike-New Hartford strolled past Denver with points to spare, taking the game 21-6. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Roland-Story won against Denver last Friday with 21 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Norsemen beat Vinton-Shellsburg by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 21-14.

Roland-Story now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Dike-New Hartford, their record is now 4-1.

Dike-New Hartford strolled past Roland-Story when the teams last played back in October of 2017 by a score of 16-0. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Norsemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
