Deckerville had won two straight games and Logan Martin did his part to make it three on Friday. The Deckerville Eagles took down the North Huron Warriors 59-45 which was due in part to Martin, who en route to 29 points. The match was his seventh in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Presron Holman, who posted six points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (three).

Deckerville pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for North Huron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Deckerville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-65 defeat against Peck on the 18th. As for North Huron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-46 loss against Mayville on the 19th.
