Basketball Recap: Immaculata-La Salle Comes Up Short

Immaculata-La Salle and Sports Leadership & Management squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Immaculata-La Salle had to settle for second. They lost 65-44 to Sports Leadership & Management. While losing is never fun, the Royal Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while Sports Leadership & Management are ranked 252nd).

Immaculata-La Salle has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
