Soccer Recap: Shades Valley Takes a Loss

If Shades Valley was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Gardendale on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mounties came up short against the Helena Huskies on Thursday, falling 5-1. Shades Valley haven't had much luck with Helena recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Shades Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Helena, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Shades Valley will challenge Cullman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Helena, they will square off against John Carroll Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
