Soccer Recap: Cedar Creek Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Cedar Creek Eagles came up short against the Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Raptors are ranked 220th).

This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Creek and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4-3.

Coming up, Cedar Creek will head out on the road to face off against Richards School for Young Women Leaders at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, they will host Crockett at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
