Summerfield Waldorf came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans by a score of 52-41. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 48-31 win last Thursday.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jhordany Barcenas, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. Barcenas has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nate Stephens, who had eight points.

Summerfield Waldorf's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.
