Baseball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shorewood Stormrays. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seagulls of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Everett saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luca Morales, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Shorewood, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Everett will face off against Kamiak at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shorewood, they will venture away from home to take on Glacier Peak at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
