They had to suffer through a 56-19 loss at the hands of Lakeview Centennial. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1223rd, while the Patriots are ranked 315th).

Wylie East pushed their record up to 14-16 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Naaman Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-21.

Everything went Wylie East's way against Naaman Forest in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Wylie East made off with a 54-30 win. Will Wylie East repeat their success, or does Naaman Forest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
