Basketball Game Preview: Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles vs. Mountain Island Charter Raptors + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles and the Mountain Island Charter Raptors will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Eagles fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They came out on top against NCSSM: Morganton by a score of 57-49 last Thursday.

Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Maitre, who made all 6 shots he took to post 14 points and four steals. Those 14 points gave Maitre a new career-high. Kamran Nichols was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Mountain Island Charter didn't have too much trouble with North Hills Christian last Thursday as they won 87-69. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raptors.
