Softball Recap: Pearl City Takes a Loss

Pearl City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Lexington Minutemen.

Pearl City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendra Kuhlemeier, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those doubles were Kuhlemeier's first of the season. Kady Miller was another, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Pearl City's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Pearl City is taking a road trip to take on Guilford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will take on Fulton at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
