Baseball Recap: Casady Comes Up Short

Casady lost against Holdenville back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Casady Cyclones fell just short of the Holdenville Wolverines by a score of 8-7. The Cyclones have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Henry Lewis put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Lewis was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Luke Woodruff was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Casady now has a losing record of 1-2.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
