Softball Recap: Clay County Takes a Loss

Clay County started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Buffalo. They lost 15-4 to the Bison on Thursday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clay County's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Buffalo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Clay County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nitro at 6:00 p.m. on May 7. As for Buffalo, they will challenge Scott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
