After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willcox, Benson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Pima Roughriders as they made off with a 5-1 win. Benson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by four goals or more this season.

They hit Pima with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kendall Miles (2), Brandon Luu, Luke Chapman, and Carlos Ramirez.

Benson's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-2 and their overall record up to 3-1-2. As for Pima, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Benson will welcome Willcox at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pima, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against The Gregory School on the 19th.
