Baseball Recap: St. David's Comes Up Short

St. David's last matchup with Cary Christian could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. St. David's lost 12-1 to Cary Christian. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

St. David's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxson Long, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. That hit marked the first that Long got this season.

St. David's has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Cary Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
