The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Meridian by a score of 47-40. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brogan Dunlap out in front who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Dunlap has scored at least 25% of Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Bohling, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7. As for Meridian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sterling at 8:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Meridian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lewiston on January 2, 2024.
