Soccer Recap: Dothan Takes a Loss

Dothan entered their game against Mountain Brook on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Dothan Wolves fell just short of the Mountain Brook Spartans by a score of 2-1. Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dothan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mountain Brook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Dothan will take on Spanish Fort at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Spanish Fort is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season. As for Mountain Brook, they will face off against Enterprise at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Enterprise will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mountain Brook surely won't give up without a fight.
