Volleyball Recap: Westminster Christian Comes Up Short

If Westminster Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Visitation Academy on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Parkway West Longhorns on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Longhorns earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Westminster Christian still got an impressive performance from Rachel Buchanan, who had 12 digs and six assists.

Westminster Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 24-7-1. As for Parkway West, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Westminster Christian nor Parkway West have any future games scheduled.
