Baseball Recap: Ocean Lakes Takes a Loss

Ocean Lakes fell victim to Landstown and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. That makes it the first time this season the Dolphins have let down their home crowd.

Aiden Skalski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ocean Lakes saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Donovan Nagle, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Ocean Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Landstown, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
