Basketball Recap: Dexter Comes Up Short

Dexter lost against Elida back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dexter Demons took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elida Tigers. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Elida, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dexter will welcome Cloudcroft at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dexter is facing Cloudcroft at the right time seeing as Cloudcroft is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Elida, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Elida Tigers face off against the Lake Arthur Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elida will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Lake Arthur will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's game.
