Baseball Recap: Old Lyme Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Old Lyme's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Old Lyme now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coginchaug Regional, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Old Lyme will challenge Portland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coginchaug Regional, they will head out to challenge Hale Ray at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
