Basketball Recap: Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 43-7 loss at the hands of the Saltillo Lions. The matchup marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Saltillo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Chapel Hill and Ector will face off at 2:40 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Saltillo, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Excel Christian Academy at 9:20 a.m. on Friday.
