Basketball Recap: Childress Falls Short of Idalou in the Playoffs

Childress and Idalou squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Childress had to settle for second. They fell 55-42 to the Idalou Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 637th, while the Wildcats are ranked 112th).

Childress' defeat dropped their record down to 11-23. As for Idalou, their win bumped their record up to 26-9.

Childress does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Idalou, they will challenge Stanton on Thursday.
