Basketball Recap: To'hajiilee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwest last Monday, To'hajiilee came back down to earth. To'hajiilee were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 69-68 to Pine Hill. To'hajiilee has struggled against Pine Hill recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

It was another big night for Channing James, who shot 63% from the field en route to 28 points for Pine Hill. The match was James' third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Elias Davis, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points.

To'hajiilee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Pine Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

To'hajiilee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine Hill, they will take on Fort Sumner/House at 3:00 p.m. on March 8th. Pine Hill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.5 points per game this season.
