Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes vs. La Salette Academy Lions
The Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes lost against the La Salette Academy Lions back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Georgetown-Ridge Farm fell 43-30 to La Salette Academy.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ajhon Watson, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds, and Brady Chamberlain who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds. Watson scored a full 26.7% of Georgetown-Ridge Farm's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
La Salette Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charles Prather, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds. Eamon Martin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for La Salette Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Cissna Park at 2:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for La Salette Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Chrisman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chrisman has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
