Basketball Recap: Gaylord Takes a Loss

Gaylord lost against Traverse City West last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gaylord Blue Devils were dealt a 67-39 loss at the hands of the Traverse City West Titans. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Titans are ranked 32nd).

Gaylord's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Traverse City West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-4.

Gaylord didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-31 loss against Petoskey on the 24th. As for Traverse City West, they will take on Traverse City Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
