Baseball Recap: Calvary Christian Comes Up Short

Calvary Christian came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-3 to the Paris Greyhounds. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Paris, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Calvary Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-5 victory against Bellevue on the 15th. As for Paris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Bishop Brossart on the 12th.
