Recap: Alma Airedales vs. Shiloh Christian Saints
The Alma Airedales lost against the Shiloh Christian Saints back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Alma had to suffer through a rough 57-21 loss at the hands of Shiloh Christian. Alma was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-14.
Jackson Daily threw for 63 yards and a touchdown. Samuel Schlegel was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards. On the ground, Carlos Gonzalez rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown.
Alma's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Shiloh Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
Alma will face off against Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkview will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Shiloh Christian, they will be playing at home against Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Hot Springs is ranked 16th, while Shiloh Christian is ranked tenth).
