Baseball Recap: Collins Hill Takes a Loss

Collins Hill couldn't beat Mill Creek on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 8-7. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost five in a row.

Collins Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gio Vega, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Noe Rivas also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Collins Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Mill Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Collins Hill nor Mill Creek have any future games scheduled.
