Baseball Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Has No Trouble Against Lighthouse Christian

Forsyth Home Educators not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 5th (when they won 11-0). Everything went their way against the Lighthouse Christian Chargers as they made off with a 10-1 win. Considering the Hawks have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Nolan Holley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Holley was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Matthew Lane, who went 2-for-3 with six RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Hooker, who went 1-for-4 with two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Forsyth Home Educators and bumps their season record up to 18-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Lighthouse Christian, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.

Forsyth Home Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will face off against Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
