Basketball Recap: Auburn Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Auburn can now relate to. They took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Red Devils on Thursday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 54-43.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 27-6. As for Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Auburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they will challenge Hoover at 12:00 p.m. on February 27th. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hoover comes in on seven and Central on three.
