Volleyball Game Preview: South Spencer Rebels vs. Forest Park Rangers

South Spencer is 2-8 against Forest Park since August of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Rebels will square off against the Rangers at 5:30 p.m. Forest Park took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on South Spencer, who comes in off a win.

South Spencer's tournament run continued when they took on North Harrison on Saturday. The Rebels skirted past the Cougars 2-1.

Meanwhile, Forest Park didn't have quite enough to beat Gibson Southern on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Forest Park took Gibson Southern into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-23, 24-26, 25-14, 15-8.

South Spencer's victory bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Forest Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6.

South Spencer came up short against Forest Park in their previous meeting back in August, falling 3-1. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
