Basketball Game Preview: Duluth Wildcats vs. Peachtree Ridge Lions

Duluth hasn't had much luck against Peachtree Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Duluth Wildcats face off against the Peachtree Ridge Lions at 7:00 p.m. Peachtree Ridge took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Duluth, who comes in off a win.

Duluth is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Parkview on Tuesday. Duluth strolled past Parkview with points to spare, taking the game 60-41. 60 seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Peachtree Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norcross.

Peachtree Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Duluth, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Duluth couldn't quite finish off Peachtree Ridge in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 47-44. Can Duluth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
