Soccer Recap: Pensacola Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Marianna last Friday, Pensacola Catholic came back down to earth. The Pensacola Catholic Crusaders fell just short of the Destin Sharks by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now lost three in a row.

Pensacola Catholic's goal came courtesy of Maguire Bond, who's now up to three this season.

Pensacola Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Destin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Pensacola Catholic has already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Escambia on the 10th. As for Destin, they will be playing at home against Freeport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
