Basketball Game Preview: Beaver Dusters vs. Shattuck Indians

The Beaver Dusters will head out to face off against the Shattuck Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaver is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Beaver came up short against Vici and fell 52-43.

Meanwhile, Shattuck might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Laverne an easy 57-32 win. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Tigers are ranked 106th).

Shattuck's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Beaver, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Beaver couldn't quite get it done against Shattuck in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 52-39. Can the Dusters avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
