Soccer Recap: Papillion-LaVista Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Papillion-LaVista can now relate to. They came up short against the South Sioux City Cardinals on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Papillion-LaVista can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while South Sioux City are ranked fifth).

Papillion-LaVista's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for South Sioux City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

As of now, neither Papillion-LaVista nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
