Softball Recap: Pendleton County Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pendleton County). They came out on top against the Bracken County Polar Bears by a score of 12-8 on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Bracken County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Pendleton County will host Lewis County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bracken County, they will face off against Ryle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
