Softball Game Preview: Rothsay Tigers vs. Brandon/Evansville Chargers

The Rothsay Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Brandon/Evansville Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rothsay will be strutting in after a victory while Brandon/Evansville will be coming in after a defeat.

Rothsay is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Ashby 19-11 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Arrows: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Brandon/Evansville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-5 to West Central Area.

The victory got Rothsay back to even at 4-4. As for Brandon/Evansville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Rothsay came out on top in a nail-biter against Brandon/Evansville when the teams last played on Monday, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
