Basketball Recap: Unity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Unity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 31-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-36 last Monday.

It was another big night for Cheyenne Anderson, who posted 16 points for Heritage Christian Academy.

Unity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.

While Unity Christian Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
