Baseball Recap: Windsor Locks Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Windsor Locks and Somers, and Somers kept the tradition alive. The Raiders might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-1 to the Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-1 loss on Saturday.

Windsor Locks saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Scholefield, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Scholefield has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Windsor Locks' loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Somers, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.
