Preview: Salisbury Panthers vs. Brunswick Wildcats
The Salisbury Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Brunswick Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Salisbury is looking to tack on another W to their nine-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Salisbury scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Knox County, posting a 81-25 victory at home. Given Salisbury's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Knox County is ranked 528th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Brunswick had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They breezed by Tina-Avalon on the road to the tune of 69-21. Considering Brunswick has won six games by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Salisbury's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Brunswick, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
